First in what could end up being 2-3 parts. This is the sound of 1992-1993, when I started spinning. The time when you went into downtown areas and found these massive events, and they seemed more creative and innovative than what I've seen now.

In Memoriam: The Summer Of Love
This mix is actually a live recording I did at a three-day weekend rave called The Caveman Experience. It took place in southern Illinois, and I honestly had no clue what I was going to play when I got there. Most of the DJs were playing techno and jungle that weekend, so I decided to go back in time and play the classics.
When I listened to the recording later in the week, it reminded me of old mixes I'd hear from the days of the Second Summer of Love in the UK. Hence the title.
