The Rare Gramercy Hip-Hop Set
Gramercy was a small lounge in the Lincoln Park bar area. One night a colleague was throwing an event there and asked me to come play hip-hop. What's strange about this is I never really play hip-hop, but he told me "play hip-hop the way you think it should be played."
The tracklist is a blend of some of the newer cuts at the time that I liked with classics I think are timeless in the realm of hip-hop.
